Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan found a good response from the inhabitants of all around. Soon after, they found it difficult to meet the full requirement of the people due to non-availability of raw materials and the concern had to be shifted to Kolkata where greater facilities could be had for its expansion. They tiny sapling, planted with hopes and noble ideals and nursed with care and perseverance, soon showed signs of sprawling into a mighty tree. The Second World War with all its attendant evils however, handicapped the operations.
Transport and communication became difficult. It was founded well-high impossible to effect the distribution of the
Baidyanath medicines with the same case and deficiency as before.
The increasing demand and the difficulties of
distribution presented a problem calling for an effective solution. Ultimately it was found in the opening of three more manufacturing centers at Patna, Jhansi and Nagpur in the years 1940, 1941 & 1942 respectively. These centers, now equipped with modern machinery and greatly expanded facilities carry on in hygienic conditions the manufacture of Ayurvedic medicines using modern methods of productions under the supervision of experienced and qualified trained personnel who keep a close watch on the latest advancement in medicines.
